It so happened when I was at Daddy's Fast Food, West Patel Nagar (A small Bakery store near my home) The Owner of the store Mr. Arun Dureja , who is now a very good friend and know that I am a food blogger asked me randomly while I was buying some pastries that if I've ever visited GTB Nagar to which I replied to him that it is definitely among my checklist but not been there before. So, he suggested that if I ever visit GTB I should visit Hudson Café which is newly opened Café and serves good food with good ambiance and in fact is inexpensive too. Listening that, I was very excited to visit the place and planned a visit the next day. How I reached there? To whom I went with? How was the food and overall experience? Let's checkout!

Colorful Staris

The Review :

* LOCATION : Hudson Café is located in the bustling street of GTB Nagar which is very popular among café's who indeed serves great food options which are low on budget. The main idea of these Café's is to serve best and why low in budget as the main crowd are college going students. Reaching GTB is very easy as you just need to take a Metro from anywhere you want and head towards GTB Nagar Metro Station. When you've reached the station simply exit from Gate No. 4 and be on your left and keep walking just 2 to 3 minutes walk and you'll see beautiful & Colourful stairs going to the 1st floor entrance to Hudson Café.

VERDICT : Easy to locate & reach. From my place it took 20 minutes approximately to reach there and a charge of 12 Rupees (One Side) on metro. Quite convenient and definitely 5 out of 5 for the location for me, being the first timer in GTB I was able to locate them quite easily.

* AMBIANCE - As you enter as I mentioned above, very colourful and beautiful stairs welcome you all and wall was painted with buildings and The Hudson Cafe written on it. Once you enter through their main door you'll have a feeling that you're home. At least I felt the same way when I visited them, as the entrance is just like a normal entrance any residential area would have and when once you step inside your whole perception changes as the interiors were cleverly and brilliantly done as the place is not too much spacious but still was doing the magic. On the left wall you may see some funky poster's on the wall which are so good and colourful that I promise you won't resist yourself clicking a facebook profile pic with your friends on the right you'll see a bar counter where they only serve you non-alcoholic drinks (Mocktails) keeping in mind that they're running a student Cafè. Also the chairs and tables are done very new way as the chairs give you an antique look but we're painted with very bright colours. The ceiling has antique designed Big Dressing Mirrors in different shapes and not to forget the blood red colour chandelier that you may see beautifying the ceiling too. All in all it was creating very lively and good environment where you may like to spend time with friends for a lot of time and keep on chit-chatting whole day with them & yes not to forget about the music they were playing was fresh, next-gen, new n all sorts of club and English songs.

* VERDICT

Verdict : Quite colourful & bright interiors, place may be a bit small and everything is on the same floor but, the place is worth enough to spend time with friends as it somehow is successful giving a good ambiance with good vibe. For me if I would rate the ambiance it would be 4 out of 5 as the place is not as great as a fine dine but I've seen much spacious café's around Delhi/NCR.

Drinks :

* GREEN APPLE MOJITO MOCKTAIL : The drink as the name suggest has an apple base to it and the most good part was that it was not fizzy at all as compared to other places which serve apple mojito with sprite or aerated beverages. Instead it does had a coconut water base which was not even giving a new dimension to the drink plus moreover was healthy to have. The only thing that was bothering was the content of mint in it as if I would be served a drink called "mojito" I'll expect it to be damn chilled and refreshing. So, I thought the drink should have more mint and a bit of crushed ice to compete with the original apple mojito.

VERDICT : 4.5 Out of 5 STARS

GREEN APPLE MOJITO

* SEX ON THE BEACH MOCKTAIL : It was simple yet flavorful. Like Apple mojito this was also made in a coconut water instead of any aerated liquids and the main flavour was of cranberry juice in coconut water. Was very delicious, refreshing & a very nice option among drinks that were been served here. The thing that was only bothering was that y in my garnish I've got a mint leaf even though the whole of the drink has got nothing to do with mint when it comes to flavours.

Verdict : 4 STARS out of 5.

SEX ON THE BEACH

* FERRO ROCHER SHAKE : This shake was simply amazing and most tempting. Trust me that I and my cousin yashika was about to have a fight for the shake as it was looking so delicious and tempting that while I was clicking pictures to it my cousin stopped me and ordered me to stop clicking the pics as I might spoil the shake and as anyways we both were quite intolerable to have it and the first giant slurp of that shake says it all as one can really taste FERRO ROCHER CHOCOLATES with nuts & caramel to it. Quite a nutty flavour, very childish, very tasty and definitely most consumed!

VERDICT : 5 STARS out of 5 STARS

FERRO ROCHER SHAKE

Food :

* MAC & CHEESE ROLLS : This was something new to me when it comes to the innovation part. I mean, serving Mac & Cheese in a form of a fried crispy Rolls are quite worth a thought. But, what I not loved about the dish was that, if you say you're making Mac & Cheese for me I would really prefer Cheddar Cheese as I am in a habit to see my Mac & Cheese the same authentic way as some people say that doesn't matter how much amazing you make any dish but some originals, no one can replace the original taste. Same was the case with me. But, after speaking with the owner Mr. Dev Pankaj Dhingra I realised when he answered my query saying that this is basically a Café where he is focusing to serve good food and that too within the budget that fits to every students pocket. So, he doesn't mind introducing yellow cheddar to the dish but that would gradually increase the cost of the dish and that might not be affordable to the kids. Which was quite true on his part as I said in the beginning that GTB is only famous for café's and the college crowd.

VERDICT : For the taste it would be 4 out of 5 STARS

MAC N CHEESE ROLLS

* CHICKEN WINGS IN PERI PERI SAUCE - Let me tell you guys it was a true delight. The most amazing part which was holding the dish together was its PERI PERI sauce which was absolutely amazing. Why am I saying so, as I went to the Hudson with my cousin who is actually pure vegetarian. After the dish arrived she was so tempted to have the wings that she couldn't resist and tried the PERI PERI sauce which itself was a compliment to a non vegetarian dish by a pure vegetarian person & not only she had the gravy once Instead she was about to luck the plate and not only she but I too was in live with the sauce. Only thing that bothers me was that the wings were quite undercooked & a bit dry from inside with small pieces.

VERDICT : 4.5 Out of 5 STARS

CHICKEN WINGS IN PERI PERI SAUCE
* CHEESE BAKED NACHOS: The Nachos which were served to us were amazingly fresh as starting from the nachos and their in house made salsa topping were very fresh and their sour cream as a topping which was used to cut the dryness of nachos were simply fresh and good! Only problem was that I wasn't able to get that cheesy Ness is these cheese baked nachos as if I would read out the menu and see this dish I would definitely expect loads of cheese by going to the name but that cheesyness was missing according to me. But if I talk about overall taste it was definitely fresh and a delight to have.

VERDICT : 4.5 out of 5 STARS

CHEESE BAKED NACHOS
* PIZZA HALF N HALF: This is an option where you have an option to choose 2 different toppings divided into 2 equal halves so we decided one veg and one non veg topping. The vegetarian being VEGGIE ATTACK with tomato, onion, capsicum, mushroom & sweet corn toppings and the non vegetarian was PERI PERI CHICKEN with bell pepper & chicken marinated in peri peri spices. Frankly speaking both the pizzas were good. Nothing to be upset about. Quite filling and the good part I liked about both of them was that they both were wafer thin crust pizzas which were actually holding on all the toppings quite well and moreover was making sure that even after a longer wait time the pizza's do not get soggy.

VERDICT : 4.5 Out of 5 STARS

VEGGIE ATTACK PIZZA

PERI PERI CHICKEN PIZZA

* CLASSICAL FISH AND CHIPS : Fish n chips are now my staples and all time favourite whenever I visit a café or whenever I hear that a place is serving fish n chips I cannot hold back myself ordering one for myself too. So simply ordered one here too and in a similar classic manner I was served BASA Fish with fries and as and dip we were given tartar dip. I loved thin & crisp slices of BASA on my table but was not impressed with the chips as I was expecting wedges for the same but truly speaking the taste of the fish was actually making sure you won't complaint about the chips too. All in all an average taste but if you're a fish fan just like me you must try it for sure!

VERDICT : 4 STARS out of 5 STARS

CLASSICAL FISH AND CHIPS

* CHICKEN PERI PERI BREAST WITH CAJUN RICE : In the mains I selected peri peri chicken breast with cajun rice for multiple reason's (a) I still couldn't go over the taste of the peri peri chicken wings (b) I love boneless chicken a lot as compared to the one with the bone as it's easy to have in public places. [Frankly Speaking I really don't care what people say, how bad and messy I am when I eat chicken with bones.] Still. (c) This main was about to be served with rice and again to be very frank rice are my staple. It's just like if you've made not my favourite veggie you can simply add rice to it and I'll have it happily. This is how much I am crazy and obsessed with rice. And if I talk about the taste it was as similar to the wings but the main addition was cajun rice and ratatouille on the side of it which was lifting the whole dish as a complete main course and was definitely lifting the whole of the main course experience.

VERDICT : 4.5 STARS out of 5 STARS

CHICKEN PERI PERI BREAST WITH CAJUN RICE

* BAKED VEGGIE LASAGNE : Lasagna sheets layered in vegetables cooked in Bèchamel Sauce (Which is actually commonly known as white sauce and is made from roux{mixture of butter and flour} and milk. It is mother sauces of french cuisine.) And is baked to perfection. Simply amazing Lasagna I've ever had. Even loving non vegetarian dishes the most thus was one of the veg dishes that Hudson Café does serves has took my heart away. My cousin didn't liked it that mush but fir me it was some definitely to be tried if we do not compare it with your best lasagne experience.

VERDICT : 4.5 out of 5 STARS.

BAKED VEGGIE LASAGNE
*HUDSON PENNE VODKA : This was something that was directly the choice of the owner as this is only one dish where the alcohol is being used. Actually this is a basic pasta which is made with imported pomodoro tomatoes and topped with parmesan cheese flamed with vodka. To my suggestion that I gave the owner that they should try using the flavoured vodka to do a bit of an experiment with the flavours as I do was getting an essence of vodka in the pasta but if they would've used the flavoured vodka that might be more easy to figure out when it comes to taste and moreover it may give more dimension to the overall dish. Just as suggestion.

HUDSON PENNE VODKA
Desserts :

* BELGIAN CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE & RED VELVET CHEESECAKE : Both of these desserts were not made in house so, would not like to rate them out of 5 instead would like to say, " The Desserts are always great if you have a sweet tooth doesn't matter where it comes from! "

BELGIAN CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE

RED VELVET CHEESECAKE

FINAL VERDICT :

WITH MY COUSIN (Extreme Left) AND OWNER MR. DEV DHINGRA (On my right)
Overall a great place to be at with near n dear ones. Liked the food with good ambiance, loads of varieties to choose from when it comes to the menu, also well budgeted and we'll planned when it comes to space. If I've to come back here would definitely come back for fish n chips, Lasagna & PERI PERI CHICKEN dishes.

Final rating 4.5 STARS and please do bookmark it and visit at least once in your free time or plan with friends!

F.O.I (Food Of Indians), Tilak Nagar

F.O.I Banner, Tilak Nagar
The Review :

Me and my friend Sagar were visiting Tilak Nagar Gurdwara nowadays and whenever I used to come out of Tilak Nagar Metro Station I always used to say him that see this new outlet with the name of F.O.I. And he always used to say, " Koi nai bhai whenever you're free we will make a plan to visit."

The Facade, F.O.I, Tilak Nagar
The day finally arrived and it was 1:30 approximate in the afternoon when I didn't had my lunch so Sagar and I decided to go to the outlet and visit the place finally and not to ignore it this time. (Even though I was still planning to visit Art of Spice, Karol Bagh to eat some chicken rolls) Sagar Pulled me and said, " Bhai yaha ka review bhi kar lenge and dur bhi nai jaana padega aur wese bhi Tuesday hai Art of Spice is closed on Tuesdays." I came back to my dreams and agreed with his valid point and went inside FOI for our brunch!

F.O.I Promotional Banner's outside the outlet
Location : Damn easy to find. As you come out of Tilak Nagar Metro Station if you're not taking the lift but stairs just come behind and instead of turning towards gurdwara left from the T Point take a right and look up you'll see the big Board of F.O.I. And if you're taking the lift then again come behind the lift area and again you'll see the big yellow banner for F.O.I.

Offers of The Day
Ambiance : As soon as you look at the facade you'll get very vibrant colourful feel overall and when you go inside it's a very simple yet happy go lucky ambiance and perfect for the birthday parties and gathering for friends and family

Seating Area

Right Wall With Menu

Front Wall
Service : It was prompt everything was been cooked freshly so was taking a bit of a time but us actually worth it as if I am getting my food made fresh I'd love to wait for the same. So, no complaints at all on this.

Food and Taste :

1. Chocolate Sandwich (70 Rupees) - A total value for money, Made with a good variety of chocolate and bread was filled with oozing black chocolate topped with Chocolate Chips was doing like a chocolaty magic on me as frankly speaking I am not a chocolate person at all but having this kind of sandwich was a heaven on its own. Tastes better than the chocolate brownies. A 100% must try.

Chocolate Sandwich
2. DND Cocktail Noodles Pizza (80 Rupees) - This was one of a kind pizza that I ever had with 2 kinds of Noodles as a topping with cheese and pizza sauce. Frankly speaking I had a big doubt if a pizza with a noodle base could be as good as those pizzas that we have regularly or could it even compete them? But lemme tell you guys that I was very much wrong in that and had a very wrong judgment over it. I tasted the pizza and I was like liking it like anything as it might sound a bit experimenting over a taste but you'll never be dissapointed for the same as I could taste two kinds of noodles one was with a high spice level and one was lower balancing the flavours for the same. But definitely a must try and you won't regret having it.
DND Cocktail Noodle Pizza
3. DND Onion and cheese Pizza (80 Rupees) - This again was somehow similar in taste but with one noodle base which I loved as similar as the cocktail one. But for me the cocktail one was the best and must try option.

DND Onion & Cheese Pizza
4. Day and Night Mix Shake : This was actually 2 layered drink of vanilla and chocolate and hence it was called as day and night. This was somewhere in between a smoothie and a shake as somewhere it was thick like a smoothie and somewhere it was liquid in consistency like a shake. The best thing about this was that all the products were natural and made in house right from the vanilla scoop and the chocolate but the best thing was that the scoop of that thing I was calling a vanilla ice cream scoop was actually made from the rich cream and F.O.I has clearly mentioned too that it takes a round couple of gallons of pure milk to make 1 gallon of this beautiful and tasty scoop of love. I loved it and one must try the same in this scorching heat to beat the summer.

Day & Night Mix Shake
5. Mix Dry Fruit shake : Just an FYI if you're thinking so far that F.O.I is only focusing on the young crown and kids so you're definitely wrong. This drink proves the same as this was very close to the desi badam and kaju drink that your parents must've relished before these kind of joints were been made. Definitely kids can have it to if they have this kind of palate developed but this drink for me was mainly focused looking a lot of parents who accompany their kids to this outlet.

Mix Dry Fruit Shake
Value for Money - Quite inexpensive and if you're low on budget and want to relish an amazing treat with friends or if you're a kid and want to go out with your parents just visit them and don't think at all.

Improvement area : 2 things I would like to mention.

1. The presence of tissue paper below every serving that you're having as it was making most of the things stick on it and one have to be a bit careful before you eat your dish. But this was addressed by the owners and this will not be seen any more in the outlet as far ands their commitment.

2. The Straw : The Shakes and smoothies that they make are amazing like anything but the straw u was served with was very narrow like a juice straw so if I have to have a big chunk of my smoothie or shake which looks so tempting I would love to get more thick straw so that I can get a taste of everything that I am expecting. This concern was also been answered and worked upon by very humble owners and this will be replaced to more thick straws.

Final Verdict : Would recommend everyone to visit the outlet and have something that you never had and expected. A must try and a must visit place.

Final rating 4.5 out of 5 ☺

Global Food Factory, Rajouri Garden

NOTE/DISCLAIMER : THE REVIEW BELOW IS TOTALLY UNBIASED AND EACH EXPERIENCE WRITTEN IS A TRUE FACT. NO INVOLVEMENT OF MONETARY BENEFITS ARE INVOLVED & DIRECTLY REVIEWED FROM THE HEART KEEPING IN MIND THE EXPERIENCE OF FIRST TIME VISITOR.
KEEP EATING! STAY HAPPY! ☻

The Review :

As every Delhiite knows Rajouri Garden is flooded with the Cafe's, Bar, Small or Fine Dine Restaurants, also small eating joints etc. But I've personally observed that Rajouri Garden is now playing with buffet menu and is not hesitant to gracefully presenting it to the general public. So is this Restaurant called Global Food Factory. Recently launched and it has not been even more than an year to it but is gaining popularity very fast.
The main attraction that they're creating is for their buffet themed menu's which keeps on changing in due course of time. Frankly speaking I had no intentions at all visiting the place till I saw a big hoarding describing about their Bombay to Beijing Festival and claiming it to be the largest buffet spread in Delhi when I was just passing by the restaurant. So, Right away took out my Note and made a note of the place as my next visit.
Woke up in the morning that day and still remember that was craving bad to have a lavish lunch the next day so decided before sleeping I texted one of my foodie friend Tushar and asked him if he would love to join in and slept and when woke up day after saw his text, "Buddy I am in! When?" So was super excited followed up and visited the place the same day for the Lunch.

The Facade (Front View), Global Food Factory, Rajouri Garden

Location : Just get down from the metro station towards Giani's and it's just like less than 2 to 3 mins walk from there. Very easy to find as once you're there you'll find A Big Round Logo written Global Food Factory on it hence, very easy to locate.

Global Food Factory Logo, Rajouri Garden

Reservations : Please make sure one reserve a table in advance before coming and when I called one of the managers picked up and I informed them to make sure that I would require a separate place to sit so that without disturbing anyone we could click food pictures and discuss about the same and to the reply they noted down the same and reserved a special table for me and also told me that, "Sir, Once you Visit whosoever is on duty manager ask them for table 104". To which I was impressed as just because of my small request the Management noted and responded quite well to my query.

The Bill Which Includes Taxes & Cost For Two, Global Food Factory, Rajouri Garden

Ambiance : As soon as you look at the facade of the restaurant it would as usual will have Big Restaurant banner but the overall feel before one enter is like an English pub/bar. You climb couple of steps and reach the main entrance and you're welcomed by the manager on duty. So having a wide look at the restaurant area it was looking and giving very English feel and the best part is what I loved is a space for Natural Lighting because the entrance has a Big Glass Door and as I visited them in afternoon in scorching heat outside it was a hell but when I was inside the restaurant because of their centralized cooling and the giant patch of sunlight coming from the glass door was doing all the magic and lit up 1/3rd of the restaurant area. The restaurant has 3 levels each few steps higher and is all on one floor. First Level was like a basic restaurant area with few tables in middle and couple on the left and on the right side they had Sofa arrangements and one step elevated dining area for 6 to 7 people alone. The second Level which is Couple of steps higher and was more like a Lounge cum Bar area with couple of lounge sofas on the right and few round tables on the left. When you're sitting on level 2 it gives you a wide view of the restaurant and if you see the first wall on the left as soon as you enter the restaurant it would have the pictures of some celebrities visiting the restaurant. Now about Level 3, it was a Main Course Buffet self service area and the dessert counter towards the end of Level 3.
Moving on the walls were giving English pub like feel because of 2 things one was the brick look walls and second reason was their inside the restaurant live station for making some of the freshest wood fire pizzas. Also on level 2 you've a full functional Bar from where you can order A La Carté Drinks from the Drinks menu (Both Mocktail/Cocktail)

The Service : The service was excellent. Prompt and there was nothing to point out bad about it as were being taken care by the captains and the frequent visit of the Chef along with the manager on our table for taking the feedback was quite a fabulous effort by the management to make sure to point out some of the small mistakes too which makes the service near to Brilliant.

The Food : The main thing I was at Global Food Factory was because of their Bombay to Beijing Buffet menu which was attracting me a lot as unlike other buffet spread it was a themed buffet and before visiting while reservations over the phone I asked the management about it and they told me that this buffet spread is focused on 2 Cuisine mixed into one buffet spread as the Name says it some of the dishes from Bombay/Aamchi Mumbai and some from Beijing.

The Taste : I begin with Starters (Writing all what I had)

STARTERS :
Non-Veg

* Keema Pav Slider : It had a very unique taste the main soul of a Keema Pav is Keema and it was grainy, had a bit to it which means it was not over cooked, Had an amazing taste as if it has been made in a pav bhaji masala. So, I have given you now the exact reference to the taste and if you ever had pav bhaji from any stall anywhere best you remember it has almost the same taste to it which was going excellent with the freshly baked Pav's.

* Oriental Spicy Grilled Chicken Skewers : This dish was one of my friend favorite had a very unique oriental taste of its own was very much dry but goes well with the chilly dip served with it.

Oriental Spicy Grilled Chicken Skewers

* Bombay Fry Chicken Tangri : Thus was more or less like a basic fried chicken in tandoori marination had a chatpata but tempting base taste. Goes well with The Green Mint Chutney.

Bombay Fried Chicken Tangri

* Beijing Special Slow Fried Chicken : This was actually a dish that had a very herb taste to it somewhere close to lemon grass, rosemary or Thyme couldn't guess exactly as it was cooked very well that I fell in love with it.

Beijing Special Slow Fried Chicken (One at the top with dark brown colour) &
Oriental Fish Of The Day
(One In the From and Light Brown in Colour)
* Oriental Fish Of the Day : I believe we were been served Basa Fish which is known to be the best when it comes to any buffet spreads and this particular preparation was a basic oriental flavor to it as it was a fried fish in Oriental sauces. Cooked to perfection and could be accompanied by the Chilly Mayo Dip.

* Bade Miya Reshmi/Banno/Kalmi Kebab : This was actually looking like any other normal seekh kebab till the time we tasted and trust me on this that this was a very different Chicken Kebabs so far I had in my whole life as the the chicken was awesomely tender so soft looks like marinated with cream or dahi to make it more tender brown from outside just like any other kebab and in contrast Pearl White from Inside. It was my personal recommendation. Goes amazingly perfect with Mint Chutney again.

Bade Miya Reshmi/Banno/Kalmi Kebab

* Chicken Dimsums : To me this was only a let down for me as being an oriental spread I had very high hope on Dimsums as I am the Biggest Dimsum fan. Frankly speaking it was somewhere close to raw if I talk about outer maida covering of it. The filling was very basic and if I compare that Dimsum with the one that I love at Lajpat Nagar Dolma Aunty's one that one would be far better than the one I had in the restaurant.

Chicken Dimsum

Vegetarian

* Bombay Chinese Bhel : There was nothing so much amazing about it. It was basically like a Bhel puri topped up with Chinese Fried Noodles I would say the taste was very close to the Veg Chopsuey.

* Beijing Stir Fried Vegetables : This was good if I would review it as a vegetarian. I could taste very well stir fried vegetables taste was again very oriental and was very crispy coated with oriental sauces.

LIVE Counter

* Wood fired Pizzas - Chicken Tikka : It was all in all a good Pizza definitely freshly made, Thin Crust Had good pieces of chicken to it. Could not be told as the tikka flavor but would be more great if it was called ad the only chicken pizza. Not bad to try.

Wood Fired Chicken Tikka Pizza

Main Course :

Main Course Platter (Includes Spicy Chicken Chettinad, Goan Fish Curry, Rogan Josh, Veg Berry Pulav & Dal Makhani)

* Spicy Chicken Chettinad or Chicken Saoji : Was Neither too spicy nor it was less definitely a bit hot than others on my plate had a very southy flavour to it but was definitely worth a try.

* Goan or Malabar Fish Curry : This was just amazing. The Best Fish curry I'd ever had. Had a taste of coconut milk somewhat to it may be or there was definitely something that was making it different from all and was coming out to be excellent, Smooth gravy, Mildly and perfectly spiced.

* Rogan Josh : I had Rogan Josh in a lot of places and all were very under-cooked and chewy and frankly saying that having this kind of experience from very well known outlets I've had made a Thumb Rule to not to have Rogan Josh anywhere but as I Love the dish I couldn't even stop myself not to put it in my plate. I took the first bite and was very happy because the taste of the gravy was simply out of the Galaxy and the mutton was amazingly well done and was moist and tender. Now this kind of dish brought my trust back in my favorite dish.

* Veg Berry Pulao : I was having Berry Pulao for the first time to be very straightforward but as have heard a lot about it in many of the parsi restaurants that are already bookmarked in my list I've finally got a chance to have it bit was very careful as if was thinking if that would be okay to have berry Pulao every local parsi's favorite to have it in the Mixed Cuisine restaurant? Actually after tasting I thought I was wrong as it was very good to taste looking like just another portion of boiled rice but had a very unique taste to it. The rice was a long grain light & sweet some fried onions added to it accompanied by a unique dry base masala. Simply Loved it!

* Dal Makhani : I have a belief that if you want to know about a restaurant and the overall taste and see of you're going to have an amazing time eating good just taste that place's Dal Makhani. So, without any thought just put it on mm y plate to accompany Berry Pulao & Garlic Naan and the Dal Makhani was stand upto the mark was very rich just like any Dal Makhani should be Creamy/Buttery like an authentic one but was definitely good as a vegetarian perspective.

Desserts Counter Display

Dessert Platter (Includes Kiwi Pastry, Coconut Caramel Custard, Mousse)

* Varieties of Pastries : the choices were, Mango, Kiwi & Chocolate so was rid of chocolates and Kiwi ones so, decide to take Mango Pastry which was soft light on sweetness, Giving a mango Ripe mango flavour. Just like another pastry.

* Coconut Caramel Custard : It was a Big Let Down for me as I love Caramel Custard like anything but the small cup it was made in had all the caramel stuck to it as the custard was kept in the refrigerator and could see that as the cup was green but the base stuck to it was all yellow stuck like toffee. Could not taste more of Caramel but had a very good coconut flavour to it.

*Hot Indian Dessert of the Day : It was Rice Kheer as the Hot Indian Dessert that particular day and had a small cup of it as had no place for it but trust me it was amazing like anything. Exact similar to the one my mom cooks at home for me with cashews and nuts. Simply tempting to look and amazing to have.

Rice Kheer, Hot Indian Dessert Of The Day

FINAL VERDICT : Overall had an amazing culinary journey from Bombay to Beijing. Where there was a subtle taste of the oriental flavors on the contrast to it the Spicy Bombay Flavors were making it Balanced and more explosive. The Global Food Factory mow has another new theme for their Buffet spread and would definitely love to visit to taste that as well back again if possible.

Final Rating : 4 Stars out of 5 Stars
