Review for Om Corner Chholey Bhaturey, Karol Bagh

Being punjabi whenever we think of our morning breakfast one thing always comes to my mind and that's nothing but "Chholey Bhaturey" & talking about Chholey Bhaturey" this place called Om Corner was been told to me by dad one fine day. Located in central Delhi or I would say located near shoppers paradise Karol bagh this place is really been recommended by a lot of friends and family members.

I was luckily in Karol Bagh for some work  where I thought of this place where I called up my father for the directions and it was very easy to find this place as I went to a ricksha waala and ask him if he knows this place to which he agreed and took me there in just ₹20.

When reached this place I asked the vendor that before I could taste their very popular menu could I get in to get some snaps to which I got a reply, " Nahi sir bade bhaiyya (owner) ne pics lene se kisi ko bhi mana kiya hai" to which I was really amazed to know that it must be really good to taste or maybe their ancestral recipe or something he than waited and said that he could call the owner and ask if I can click some shots to which I agreed and in the mean time I ordered my plate that cost me ₹45 for a plate a bit expensive as compared to normal Chholey Bhaturey rates I wonder if they were trying to compete with some branded outlets like Haldirams or something. But still it was okay and when I tasted them it was nothing but just an overhyped place as I expected. Nothing very special about this place ambience is a local market backdrop and if I talk about their eating area it was quite clean but was very old fashioned where one just can only stand and eat on a table top.

Talking about their taste, Chholey was nicely made but less spices, may be to cater the need to adjust the spice meter for every age group but didn't worked out for me.

Ya! I got some snaps finally as well when I finally got a permit from the owner for a so called "popular" eating joint but trust me please do not go specially to visit this particular place instead find a local thelawaala who could make more great stuff in a very low price instead.

FINAL RATING : 2.5 STARS

Review for Mad Over Donuts (M.O.D), Lajpat Nagar 2

Now a days you don't need a reason to eat sweet. There was a time when after finishing our food we have to wait for a sweet to come on our plates but ask any youngster, we can have sweet as our main course as well. All you need is to have a SWEET TOOTH.

Talking about Mad Over Donuts aka M.O.D  this place is one of a kind, bringing Doughnut Culture in India sharing the place with Dunkin Donuts.

MAD OVER DONUTS (GALLERY)

This particular outlet is very near to my father office and also accompanying Lajpat Nagar 2 Market making it very easy to find.

frankly speaking that i eat anything sweet depending on my mood but standing with my father while waiting for my mom to come back from the market I entered this outlet and as soon as you open the door you get a heavenly Smell of freshly baked donuts. When enter simply ask for the FLAVOR OF THE DAY and there you go! Trust me you wont regret having it!

I had Cream and Cookie Donuts filled with amazing soft cream and dark chocolate and cookie crumble.
Add on to my surprise while having a last bite i had my bill number ending 999 that gives me FREE pack of 6 Donuts!

MY ORDER

But that only happens once in a week to a lucky customer and to my luck i won that SIX PACK! Hell Yeaaahhhh!!!

only 2 things disappoint me of this outlet is that 1. They don't have a place to sit and enjoy freshly baked master pieces 2. they keep on changing the flavors and if you may ask for the same flavor that you had last time you may not get it again

but all in all a very good place to fulfill your SWEET TEMPTATION for me its a must have!

Final Rating : 4 Stars

Review for Rajhdhani Thali Restaurant, Pacific Mall

If we talk about Authentic Rajasthani food after "Chokhi Dhaani" this is a place that one have to be for a real taste of Rajasthan on your plate.

An amazing place in just ₹450(Incl. Taxes) one can have every variety of Rajasthani cuisine starting from their special mint chaach that helps digest and helps you make some space for the starters as Rice Dhokla, khandvi, khakhra and SO ON, moving to main course - Undiyo, Puri, Kichadi with Ghee, Choices of bread makka roti, Bajara roti, Naan, Tawa roti and SO ON and in sweet dishes as Jalebi, Rabri, Gulab Jamun, Kheer and SO ON, By the way it's not that my grammar is weak cuz m repeating the word SO ON again n again it's just cuz I haven't even named some more delicacies that I had, and guess what??? ITS UNLIMITED!!!

Rajdhani Thali Restaurant

Your Belly May Burst but their servers and their great Hospitality filled with love & joy still tells you to get a bit more of every time.

Coming on to the staff and ambiance, it's EXCELLENT. You don't have to call for a waiter as they have plenty of staff that automatically takes a round after serving the whole food in every 3-4 mins. Can You Beat That! A bit modernized ambiance not matching Rajasthan bit still hell good.

The best thing that I like about Rajdhani Thali Restaurant is that they never have a fixed menu as they keep on experimenting new items eery time but I bet you will leave some of it for sure in your thali as you'd think I could eat more but your heart will always ask for more n more.

And obviously now you had a lot that you can't even move to wash your hands right?
Don't worry they come and do this for you too :P

Review for Golden Fiesta, Lajpat Nagar 2

Talking about high craving for Chinese here you are @ Golden Fiesta!

All Treats!!

Chinese Chat Stall

Chat Meal Box
This outlet has a big varieties of evening snack starting from Chocolate eclairs, Burgers and patties but c'mon i am not writing this review just because i want to. My main reason to take my time out and to write a review for this place is only its special "Chinese Chaat" yes you hear correct Chinese Chaat, Original creation of Golden fiesta famous in whole Lajpat Nagar and even whole Delhi slowly and slowly.

A very good combination of finger licking varieties of snacks combined and put in your plate for an amazing reasonable rate for maximum Rs.300 for 2 making it a great hit. The main thing that made this place popular is that it is located in the heart of lajpat nagar main market where you can easily ask for the place and you will get it!

Options are for both vegetarians and non-Vegetarians. The best part is that you can customize your place and if you negotiate with the chaat waala he may give you a bit more add on's FREE!

Talking about the taste its not a very authentic Chinese taste but its a bit of Delhi Desi Flavor. that fills up you till top. a very popular way to see lajpat nagar market. My personal suggestion would be that you don't take Chaat on the plate order it always in a box so that its very easy to handle and you don't have to stick in the shop only as the shop doesn't even have a place to sit, that's a bit disappointment.

Final Rating : 3 Stars

As the place only have one hing to write about and that is really special plus the place does not have table or chairs to sit. Its just takeaway

Review for Art of Spice, Karol Bagh

As the name says seriously, "ART OF SPICES!"
Suggested by a friend, this place has serious taste and varieties of ROLLS that you can't even imagine with great flavors bombing in your mouth. Heard for the first time BUTTER CHICKEN ROLL & CHICKEN MALAI TIKKA ROLL Thought of giving it a try i reached this place through metro in just my shorts as today was a great weather. A bit HARD TO FIND LOCATION for the first timers but not too hard as soon as you get out of the metro drop yourself out opposite Karol Bagh Main market and take first left, its in a, "NARROW GALI" 3 shops in a row Chowranghee, Wraps & ART OF SPICES.
WARNING!
DON'T GO TO ANY OTHER SHOP!
Directly enter ART OF SPICES and when I enetred i asked, "Bhaiya Aapke Yahan Konsa Roll sabse Badhiya Hai?" and to my surprise he replied none other that their highest sold basic CHICKEN EGG ROLL without any second thought i directly said, "Thik Hai Bhaiya Ek Kar Do Fatafat!" as i was damn Hungry with a BIG PUNJABI DIET :P.
In just 10 Mins Maximum i recieved a DAMN BIG parantha wrapped with juicy chicken and highly flavorful with a typical mughlai filling & flavor u just cant resist getting yourself another ROLL and here we go i ordered another BUTTER CHICKEN ROLL but I was lucky as they don't serve you BUTTER CHICKEN & TANDOORI DELICACIES are only served after 6:00 PM ONLY. Only one things that bothers me is that this place has No Delivery, No Good Ambiance, No Seating. But for taste 100% AWESOME!
